That's really the only reason I try to win in this league. Get to the ILCS so I can pick my own SP, who is 1st in wins, 5th in strikeouts per 9, 5th in WHIP and 3rd in opponents OPS, over a middle reliever who is only considered an "All-Star" because of the sample size. You're right.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
Washington Bats - 1979-2013

Clay...we can only do so much. Hopefully this year someone else makes it to the ILCS besides the powerhouses from the Stout.Originally posted by Clay View PostYou're right... leading the league in Wins and a sub-2.80 ERA just don't measure up.Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-

Oh, I know... I appreciate the discussion. I won't spend a second second-guessing Magness. 9 Owners saw fit to give him an All-Star vote.... so... what can I say. If you don't want to see the dance, keep me out of the endzone. The Great One!

Yes, all hail the mighty IL, the league in which .500 teams are three games out of the playoffs.Originally posted by Sully View PostThreads like this make me glad I'm in the IL. The DL is boring. We probably won't even see an All Star announcement thread, and if we do, it'll generate like 3 posts....all from IL owners.Maine Guides

I love the discussion. It's what makes the BLB the best on-line league I've ever been it.Originally posted by TheLetterZ View PostYes, all hail the mighty IL, the league in which .500 teams are three games out of the playoffs.
And DL owners go back to your hole. No one cares about your All-Star team....or lack there of.

You realize the DL kicked the shit out of the IL in interleague games this year, right?Originally posted by Pat View PostWhen was the last time they won this thing anyways?
We should change the All-Star game to IL vs. IL and the DL can play the softball game the day before.Maine Guides
