Just realize that my future star RF Williams who is in the DL is getting professional days experience. Why is it happening? I moved to the DL on te ST and I wouldn't like him losing his rookie status for this teason as he's playing in AA.
Is it anything can be done about it?? Am trying to demote him but because he's in the DL I can't do it...

If you promoted him he's going to get experience injured or not.

In this Draft´s edition (2014), there is many high picks of players from HS, so now the question is obvious:
What parameters are you using to decide that guys from HS worth a Top-notch Round pick? What is the "average" AVG / OBP / ERA / K/9 IP...?? For me those numbers are well above the college numbers and you´d never know if that guy is going to fully develop as his potential says, or he´s a gamble... You guys are relying on the scout comments as well, but I would like to dig inside your brains and take all your knowledge because is very interesting for me
Yup like they said. Waive and DFA away (sometimes that's the only way to move a guy to the minors).
If they stay there for several SIMs though their DFA time runs out and it forces us to stop the SIM and adjust accordingly. Not a huge deal but can be annoying when we have several teams who forget and we have to shuffle rosters to try and not release anyone.
I believe dfa in the sim thread means players that were waived and dfaed or signed and sitting in dfa that ran out of dfa days and were about to be released.
Matt/Brad will attempt to save these players from release.
If you force them to do this for you, they will put your name on a list. That list can be used against you in trial.
He surprised me but his stuff is expectional. Like I said in this post the fly ball pitchers don't scare me the way they use to. Talley and Lemus are fly ball pitchers who have excelled. Past versions I'd say they'd be hit harder.

Ok.
I saw that Matt posts which teams have DFA's so I wasn't sure if it was something we weren't allowed to do.
Thanks UMD!
He posts DFA for when someone has a roster issue. If they still have their options he tries his best not to waive or release anyone. He will DFA them so that they can make their own decisions.
Is it okay to waive and DFA in order to get my roster down to 25?
I have a few players out of options and I need to send them down.
But unless I do that, they stay on my roster.
Is it an unwritten rule to Waive & DFA?
Thanks!
Anyone you waive can be claimed - I think that's what you mean? So, waive away, but you run the risk of losing those guys.

My bad. MLB2K12 was the last PC port.
And it appears it's no longer available at a reasonable price.
I believe you can still buy a physical copy from Amazon.com but it's $80.
MVP2005 is another PC port that has a high sticker price due to all the fantastic mods for it.
