Oh wow. Didn't know that about league priority.

    This is from the manual:

In the case of a standard MLB setup, teams from the AL have priority over teams from the NL in claiming players from the AL and vice versa. Priority is otherwise determined by reverse order of win-loss records as noted below. The same applies to setups with other sub leagues.

If more than one club in the same subleague claims a player, the club currently with the worse win-loss record gets the player. (If fewer than 31 days have passed in the current season, then last season's won-lost records are used for this purpose.)

Because I claimed a player Dallas got last sim and Carolina was given a player I claimed in I think May.

Im not looking for retroactive change. Just curious what happened.

I believe it's W-L record but with priority given to teams in the same league.

How is waiver priority determined? I mentioned this before but I'm sure it get missed by most.

Twice this season I have lost claims on players I had a higher priority than...if it is based on W-L record.

Or, is it based on previous years record, and then once you make a claim, you go to the bottom?

I'm just not sure the game is handling this. I'm not even sure we have a rule on this I think we have just let the game handle it. However, we could always make a waiver claim thread to make sure it is handled properly. Not a huge deal, as waiver talent is usually pretty borderline.

Let's pour some out for our homie, Marco Lona. He was the best shortstop we ever simmed.

You've got a project with these Dinos but I hope you embrace it.

Moved to the newbie thread. This is a good place for questions like these as it helps future new owners too.

And it happened to this guy this offseason.

    http://www.simgamingnetwork.com/blb/...ayer_9270.html

Now he has a stunning -17.9 ZR at a position he was +2.8 last year. Hes 22! It has to do with range so I'm hoping it goes back up. An 8 arm is a terrible thing to waste.

Thanks dude. That makes sense to me!

Glad I asked. Was ready to do another bailout for $16M but really, I should stay put to turn a profit. It's the least I can do for an owner who thinks our team focus is still "Win Now!"

Yea. I don't know how to explain it in business speak, but as long as you keep making money at your current pace and maintain the current expenses you should be at 2MM profit. However, if you continue to lose fans coming to the park, don't expect that profit as your actual end of season revenue is going to be less than your projected revenue at this point in the season. I think the developer tried to combat this by allowing us to change ticket prices in-season so you can entice fans to come to the park cheaply and maximize revenue with lower ticket prices.

Or I could be completely wrong. Brad and Clown will likely come in and make more sense than me though. I'll just shut up now.
