I had no idea that Upton was so high compared to the others in his class.

Nice write up. I'm hoping this year is when O'Neal turns the corner. Looking back, I probably wouldn't have made the pick.

I should have followed Shark's philosophy on pitching and drafted Lofink. Instead I continue to take his money to hide away in PD and scouting.

        1. What great uniforms at the top. Great job BDub...what an addition to the league.

        2. Jimmy Shaw is on the Top 100 list...and he's coming to the BLB this week due to the injury to P Toshitsugu Hirasawa.

          Kauffman was my #1 target

Importantly- I swapped the #1 pick for the #2 pick and picked up Micah Poppino who was stuck in Toronto's farm system at that time. So that draft is pretty special for me.

If you want to see a crappy draft, 2013 is another one to look at. I got really lucky that Daley got some rating bumps but the rest of that 1st round was pretty nasty from what i recall.

One hell of a write up LC.

We really bled the feeder leagues dry in 2014. My best draft pick in the 2015 draft will be my 10th round pick, Dave Sloper, who projects as maybe a #4 starter.

O'Neal has no position rating at C.

I noticed that Tony Mireles, who I wanted to keep up in the BLB, lost his at 3B as well. It's some sort of Range issue that if it goes too low they lose the position rating. I'm forcing Mireles to play 3B in AAA to see if it comes back. I have no idea why a 22 year old would lose it though after playing 3B for years in the minors. I could understand if he was 35. I looked to see if it was a bug but couldn't find anything.

I have a couple of catchers in Single A that lost position ratings. I think a lot of it was I didn't have enough time for all of them to play there.

Thanks for reaffirming why I traded out of that draft. It also netted ended up turning in Broughton and Brouwer the following year, who hopefully still have a high ceiling to reach.
