    Bummer.
I was just reading back through this thread, and I'll be interested to see if this cycle is broken. It would be a stretch for Woodbury to win a Glove Wizard, but not impossible.

Look at the bright side: no team with 5 playoff appearances has not won a BLB championship. Go 1989!

That would be me. I thought he was going to get a couple more though.

Great season. No doubt. But I think he falls short of being in the conversation of the best ever. Less than 100 runs. His K/BB were almost dead even. Less than 80 walks. One steal attempt (caught).

I'd say a Top 10 season... but I'm not sure it even makes the Top 5.

That being said, he wins the Triple Crown and it's obviously the most unique accomplishment.

I think if you're talking best seasons ever for a Hitter in the BLB... you have to have Kellum (78) and Keppel (82 & 83) in the conversation.

I wish there was a utility that let you plug in numbers and see which guys match the criteria.

I'm interested in knowing how many guys have had Guzman's season:

    100 BB
    100 R
    100 RBI
    40 2B
    10 SB
    .300 AVG
    .400 OBP

By the way, the answer is none.

But, you can grab stats from Campoveroe's '84 campaign and suggest it's better. I think it is.

Woodbury was 9 walks shy of doing it again this season.

That's an All-Star list. Certainly an impressive statistic.
