Oh my god, that was worth watching on solevision. Very good game, nelmsm. I can't believe the result.

I got away with one, plain and simple. My complete lack of ability to stop the run was on full display here. What made it worse is that Hunter McGarrahan was having his way with my secondary, something I was not counting on. And what made it worse was that Randy Boone was freaking sucking.

Somehow somehow *somehow* the Bees pulled into the lead just inside the two minute warning. And Los Alamos still almost managed to get out of that, despite the refs' best efforts. Untimely penalties for both teams were the name of the game - they were always really, really untimely, and none more than the delay of game, followed by a false start, on what started out as 4th-and-10 for the Monsters with the game on the line and seconds to go. Even still, they managed to come inches away from a first down - 19 yards gained on 4th-and-20.

But with that stop, the Bees manage to hold on and send a jittery Randy Boone out there to take some knees...

Holy hell, my QB is Brett Favre. And I don't like that.

That was enough to have every Los Alamos fan weeping I'm sure. Two missed field goals and two long TD passes allowed was ugly. Plus being stopped on 2nd and 1 and 3rd and 1 when I needed a drive to eat the clock up has the offensive line not looking forward to the next meeting with their coaches.

It was a defensive battle as we had no idea what we were doing on offense and we kept on getting the lucky tipped ints. We force 4 total and the run game just enough to hold on to the ball at the end.

Seriously, I've never seen a game in FOF as silly as this one. We had every chance to win this game, and this play will forever haunt me:
