It's not that odd in wins, at least if you're running a lot to play keepaway (voice of experience). But they are a pretty big deal. There's what you could call a 3rd level of familiar, in that there is a level of familiarity before it starts throwing messages too. Exact ramifications, I don't know, but I'm sure it's a decreased percentage of success on offense in general. I try to avoid it like the plague.

Oh, and about the loss... speechless. Especially since Mike's file didn't take. Total egg. I think this is what we can expect with Eisenbart at the helm, and doubly so with Sponable out on defense.

GG Portland. Well, kind of a blowout loss actually. But you were without your starting QB and a starting WR, hard to get much going when those injuries stacked against you.

On the 3rd offensive play for us in the game a familiar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really..... Really????
The part I found amusing was it was the only familiar message we got all game. We had the offense figured out after just three plays, then it was as if they were no longer familiar to us.

"Wait, who are these guys again?"
          "Portland."
"Are you sure? Their quarterback doesn't look depressed."

Not that Kevin Murphy had much to be smiling about. We held TV's Tom Servo to negative net passing yards for most of the first half, and he was getting no help from the ground game. Still, Mr. Murphy has at least one reason to hold his head a little higher this week, his QB rating was 27.7 points better than the last time he played against us.

well the one nice thing about having a depressed Qb is that he'll cut himself
