  • BELCO Game Plan Library, Version 2.0

Four of my leagues' seasons ended this past week or will end this coming week. I promised myself that if I won at least one title, I'd release my very best game plan efforts to the public as per requests. It is done.

Maaan, I can't wait for Ken Schacht to stop getting wasted by me.

Oh, yes - thanks, Ben, of course. I will probably stubbornly stick to hacking out my own failed gameplans, but these will be fun to look into.

Hah, failed my ass. They've been doing pretty good if you ask me.

Meh, I'm not impressed. Posting big stats with super teams in SP and saying how great his GPs are....

They're examples, as are the gameplans. They're a place to start.

You think he's going to tell what he uses in mp? lol I think not. ;)

I just think it's arrogant. (mockingly) "I'm so awesome, everyone should use my gameplans"

                1. To be clear, some of these are actual game plans that I've used in MP, including the one that got the 63-TD season in the CCFL. They're most definitely my best efforts, unlike the first round.
                2. As far as arrogance or whatever, if you actually read the threads, you'll understand that I was asked to do this.
                3. Even if I wasn't asked, things are getting out of hand, so I probably would have done this anyway. This was become more and more necessary.

Classy move to get more people involved in the game. Certain QB's perform better in certain systems. The studs can play in each one of those offenses. Teams biggest problems are putting players in systems that aren't suited. So, don't throw the medium pass if your qb can't do it. If the qb is awesome at it, load him up with those throws.

                    I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i see where mike is coming from tho. ben has whupped up on everyone so much NOW hes bored and wants people to "catch up" but as even hes detailed unless you do everything else hes doing his gameplans wont work.

like the training camp tricks, attendance stuff etc great example is nemiss exact same team and he did a damn fine job but i would have never beat ben even if ben would have set his gameplan for him.

again as others have said nobody short of Jim Gindin (and i dare say ben may even) has a better understanding of this game. that being said im sure the crowd at FOF central is jubilant.

but the most success i had was using bears gameplans and had the most success ive had, maybe i got lucky.

Run GP Analyzer on Columbus for last season, and ask yourself how different the GP I used last year here, and the PAV GP Ben released is.

Bobby Tubb's old coach is rolling in his grave at the pathetic performance he put up last year :)

Tubb's had his worst year ever, and it was while I was directing him. Gonna go bury my head in the sand now.

And yet you were one game - maybe one play - from a bowl appearance. Something to consider in this overall discussion.

Kinda makes you think that it's about how the TEAM is built, which is kinda what mike is going for.

Regardless, it does make me curious about how a GP that was relatively close, performed so differently.
