Yup Carlisle died on me...so I cut him. I've taken the worst team in the league and made them worse.

i always took it to mean a guy with 99 vol is no more likely to bust than a guy with 34 vol

unless there are degrees of "bust"? rico went -5 even tho my scout had him at VU and my scout is Vg with qbs and EX with young talent. but his vol is 83. so maybe he DID bust but it wasnt a Tony Mandarich (this guy is a total waste) bust as much as it was a Russell Maryland (hes ok but not worth his draft postion) bust

even Carey Money only bumped a few points

even tho that was one of the main reasons i didnt get a qb last years draft

Well, to be fair, maintaining that 77 level would have been a tall order. I guess you valued your scout's word a little too highly in this case.

I do think there are degrees of busts though, so that could be well be it. Can be hard to tell.

as a footnote when i drafted morrision and my scout had him as scouted and my scout was vg with wr he came in exactly as what he was pre camp

oh and very happy about Ernie Morris granted the 6 point drop but he shoudl settle in the 50's and he looked good in the run game

I hit REX on my depth chart for the game coming up. The AI starts the 7 current rated Money over my 36 rated vet. Perhaps the game knows that Money's real ratings are higher?

            Just food for thought

Heh, nah, it just wants to get a rookie some playing time. ;)

When I hit Rex it puts Britt Meyer ahead of Boone for me at QB...so that can't be right. Boone's ratings have gotta be higher. Not sure Rex is too wise about stuff like this. Maybe it's looking at his high draft pick status.

What do you guys think of this class overall? Felt like a really deep draft in the first and through parts of the second. After that though seems like the talent level really, really dropped off.

Well you aren't really comparing apples to apples. Your two guys are both 55 rated. My guys have a 28 point difference in ratings and the game picks the lower one. I choose to believe that means Money's true current is over 35. But i also live in denial-land ;)

Overall the 1st 2 rounds were good I agree. wasn't crazy about much else after that. When I am trading away later round picks, you know I don't have alot of guys I like. So I hope next year the draft is deeper.
I had only of handful of guys I liked later on, a bunch of ok guys though, the later picks I did make were part of my like group and they did well for me.

To be fair, humor like this goes right over Rico's head.
