Renegotiation Rules - PROPOSAL

Current rule: Teams can only renegotiate with players on their roster if they have 1 year remaining on their current deal.

Proposal: Do away with the restriction altogether.

I'm fine with doing away with it, most players wind up getting the same money for years they already had a contract for.

Also simpler to enforce. This rule is hard to keep track of. I think I saw a player this season or last but I forgot who it was, that was re-signed early. Who knows, may have been the AI.

Sometimes it will make sense to redo deals earlier, but it's not exploit worthy stuff.

Just about every reneg these days is realistic (or close to it). You may save a million this year, but you'll pay back 3 million over the next 3, and it's all guaranteed. As mentioned above, this is an outdated rule that's been patched out.
