I'd have to say 3rd and 14 sounds better. Especially b/c they are on the 31 and a FG makes it a 2 score game.

The preseason debut of QB Rico Newton was hilarious. The passing game in general looked amateur at best, but we can certainly make things happen on the ground. Gonna give Newton a whole game next week to get a real good look at his pick throwing skills.

Well our offense looked anemic with McAleese completing 12 of 28 passes. I guess the good news was that our defense recorded 9 sacks.

Still a lot of holes in this Mechanics' defense, but I think the offense is going to be OK if we can keep from putting the ball on the turf.

Rookie Joseph Jenkins looks good so far. Even took a KO to the house from 90+ Not sure he'll get a ton of ST run in the reg season, but nice to have that weapon in the clip.
