What an awful game. Our defense kept us in the game, and almost get the win, but with that offense is impossible to win. Staat had the worst game of his career, and Liebman threw 2 picks in the last 2 drives when we were trying to win.
I want to believe that this loss is only an accident, cause his touchdown come from a drive with a long bomb of 61 yards, even with us expecting the pass. And our offense only can be better than this game.
Very nice results out of the gate after a shaky start to the game. We decided to shelve top DE Norm Sheldon for the year in order to save a roster spot, but it appears our line will be ok, and maybe even improved overall with the addition of Whalen and Korber.
Very pleased with the pass game in general. Could run it better.

gg mrkordell
gg edirash, that was quite the defensive struggle.
Pearl Harbour got spanked pretty bad
we kept it close until Whalen woke up and threw it all over the field
he had one completion midway thru the 2nd qtr with a 97 yd pass to Wells(who else!)
i guess we need to not miss out on our chances or else this will be a longggg season
Yes, it helps when your QB can flip an 8 yd pass to a WR and it turns into a 97 yd TD. Talk about YAC!
This was Rico Whalen's 6th career 5 TD regular season game (he's also done it once in the playoffs) and the 2nd time he's accomplished the feat at the expense of PH.
A spanking indeed. gg mike17. Cary Money in particular suprised me. With his team falling behind big early and with no running game to speak of to help him out he still managed to complete a respectable 62% of his passes with 2 TDs and just the 1 INT at the very end of the game.
I think I'm going to have to bottle some of that off season rust and save it for the playoffs. Not only was our QB sporting "significant" rust, so was our starting center (3/7 KRB 2 Pnc 0 SckA) and two wide recivers (5/5 81 yds 1 TD between 'em).
Casey Baumgartner had the best day passing of any QB not throwing to Shawn Wells. TE Brandon Klotz, cut by Boston after they failed to trade him, lit up his old team for 89 yards and 2 TDs. FA aquisition Robert Jamison led the team with 7 tackles and WLB Terry Dunlap finally showed some flashes of the pass rush ability his high time 40 promised.
The bad news? Rookie CB Alfred Lynch out 28 weeks. He used to be a promising 1st round draft pick, but then he took a reconstructive surgery to the knee.
We will not be rollin out the welcome wagon this year.
He may beat us...he may win...but he will bleed...the reaper shall reap...
YOU may sow...but we ...we will reap...and a reaping...we shall have.
He will weep!....whatever ...
Do we even play you guys this year?

He might be OK when he comes back. I lost this guy to a major knee injury in his second game after drafting him around 10th overall:
