I was bummed I didn't get P Castillo so I settled in Rd 3 for P Griffin. Guy turns out to be a 75/86 punter. Obviously that can change but I'll take it.

On a side note it's sad when you're most excited about a punter from your draft.

Hey good punters are extremly valuable for teams with good defenses and bad offenses. :)

Holy crap. Good pick Matt. Did not expect that, my gosh.

Both should be studs. Bet your guy climbs and is the weapon he's advertised to be, but Matt's is just a find! and out of left field too.

For us, our 3.11 safety comes in 11/36 and our 4.9 tackle at 12/36. Looks like a coupla winners

I was thinking about taking him one pick after you. Settled for another punter in the 5th who's hopefully comparable.

Finally signed Double-A to a very uninspiring 1-year deal. Couldn't get him to sign a multi-year, apparently he's after that sweet, sweet free agent money. Yeah, good luck with that, ya 44/44 hack, system QB. If the big dumb lug doesn't pick up a formation or two, may not even be the starter here by the end of the season. (Don't you wish real-life GMs were able to post their real thoughts like this?) :)

Backfield is definitely reloaded, as Hanks comes in at 51/61 and Tuiososopo at 42/68. I expect the former to pop a bit, and the latter will probably drop -3 - but still be good.

Doesn't look like I've gotten anything special beyond that, but if they pan out as expected, that's enough. :)

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

I hope The Flame bumps up some more, but otherwise I'm pretty sure I'm looking at a number of -1, -2 and -8's.

I like drafting crappy looking players because it minimizes disappointment. There's nowhere to go but up. If they go down more it could hardly make a difference. Can't get much worse.
