With the draft concluded and free agency winding down (for us, it's over), we've started to hit the renegotiations hard. The past two stages we've secured two of our remaining 3 RFAs, and re-signed seven veterans.

The big one is recent first round pick (boy, I miss those) Quinn Robinette, in a contract year after defending more passes than he allowed caught. We've also restructured and extended 2nd-year corner Mitchell Prescott, a surprising show of faith in a guy that we've been open to trading, but will now be pretty hard to part with for a while.

Our cap situation still looks terrific this year. I wonder how much that first year bonus + first year salary matters to these guys. We've secured a number of guys to much lower money overall than they were asking for - somewhere around 70-75% - by increasing the first year number.

With all these successful extensions/renegs, we might be able to turn our attention to another guy due for an extension next season in soon-to-be-starter Geoff Keisel, and ease the Doom of 2025. At this point I'm not sure if that will even be necessary.

      Rookies
A hit and a miss from the latest reveal. RB Ryan Green has a great chance of joining the crew with a pretty nice 26/38 showing. On the other hand, we were hoping Doug Alfred (5.31 OLB) would come in much higher than 14/26, to compete with the other young guys we've imported to that position. He'd have to really explode in camp...
