So I just installed the game. Now what? How do you join the actual league?

Joining the actual league

Soon we'll all be able to download the OFC universe and league files. The universe files will replace the stock files that came with the game when you downloaded it. Create a folder on your desktop and copy/paste these original nfl files for safe keeping.

You'll also have league files. These are the files that you'll upload/download every week during the sim season. Replace the stock nfl files with these and place the nfl files into another folder for safe keeping.

Picture files should be coming and these go into the picture files.

There is a way to create batch files that allow you to go back and forth,
but personally I find this way much easier.

On my desktop I have a series of DFL folders, Super League Folders, and OFC folders. Whenever i switch back and forth, I just copy paste back and forth.

You'd think Jim would have changed FOF so you wouldn't have to fiddle with those anymore. That was my only real disappointment with the 2007 version.

where can I find the stock files? sorry, i'm a first timer. hold my hand please...lol.

I created a folder and just copy and pasted all the the FOF files to the folder. Is that cool? Instead of looking for individual files, I figure i'd just copy all of them to my folder.

EDIT: Well you were just on and was about to tell what you need in your "OSFL" folder but you just left.

If you have a single player dynasty going on, you will want to put the original frfoot.fcy, frfoot.fgr and frfoot.fni files that are in your "universe" folder in a new folder called "NFL" or whatever your single player league is called. If you have custom graphics/.bmps for that league, you also want to put those in your "NFL" folder. Now onto the OSFL...

Once we get the league files from Skerik.. make a "OSFL" folder, then put the supplied frfoot.fcy, frfoot.fgr and frfoot.fni files in the folder. THEN, once we get the graphics/.bmp files you would put them in the same "OSFL" folder.

Now I'm pretty sure that's how you would set that up, if I'm wrong, someone please correct me. Also, I'm not sure on how to make the batch file but if someone with more experience can explain that, thanks.
