Divisional Assignments

For those curious, I used cam's crack at the divisional assignments, which actually broke down very well by location. Then I randomized a list, 1-8, which determined which divisions went into each conference. Conference names are TBD - feel free to offer suggestions.


Conference 1

FOUR CORNERS:
Denver, Los Alamos, Phoenix, Utah

GREAT LAKES:
Lake County, Motor City, Ohio Valley, Punxsutawney

NORTHWEST:
Anchorage, Kalispel, Portland, Washington

BIG SOUTH:
Memphis, New Orleans, Port City, Waco

Conference 2

NORTHEAST:
Boston, Brooklyn, Camden, So Maryland

SOUTHEAST:
Charlotte, Columbus, Gainesville, Morgantown

MIDWEST:
Chicago, Dakota, North Liberty, St Paul

PACIFIC COAST:
Las Vegas, Pearl Harbor, San Francisco, Yuma

Ya know, everything I can think of has come before. I'd like to see some of you younger owners come up with something extreme and different. Let's not rehash the NFC and AFC.

That wouldn't work because that is not how it is set up.

What about something football related:

Might be a bit of a stretch, but what about McGill and Harvard for the conference names.

I'm sure a lot of you know, that they trace the origins of American football back to a Canadian Rules Rugby match played between McGill University and Harvard in Montreal almost 100 years ago.

It's obscure, but it might add a little history to the league.
