I took the bee antennae from a microscopic magnification of a real bee antennae.


I'll play with the sizes in anim8or and downsize a bit. I'm in a bad vision cycle and am having difficulties with small sizes these days.

Almost perfect. I'm struggling with anima8or. I can't figure out how to add a bitmap to a texture. None of them show up.

My antennae are a little more stylized and curvy. If you send me the bitmap you're using maybe I can customize it an toy with it. I'm really just looking for a couple of swooshes, more cartoonlike than realistic.

But that's a HUGE start. Thank you!

Okay, Los Alamos is kickin my butt on the New Mexico Flag and the OSFL emblem, so I shorted him until I can figure out the gradient problems the rear end is giving me. Cotton, I'll e-mail you the Bee skin. When you upload the 3ds anim8or helmet, you'll have to go into material mode and upload that template onto your helmet. If you have problems with the secular and emissive, let me know.

Next, we stay out West. That damn East Coast bias, don't ya know.

I figured out what I was doing wrong with the textures. Apparently, you have to actually turn them on in the Preferences. Oy... did I just blow a few hours on that one. ;)

So, cool. I can use your beeskin and fiddle with it.
