The Ace's defense had pretty well shut us down all game long, but we were lucky enough to be leading this one 10-6 going into the fourth quarter. Of course, a big part of our our luck came when Yuma, already without one WR and their starting TE due to injury, lost two more WR and their starting FB in the first quarter.
But when our luck changed it changed hard. First drive of the 4th quarter, first play, fumble Yuma returns for a touchdown. Second drive, first play another fumble, sets up another Yuma touchdown. Third drive, blocked punt, Yuma recovers for a touchdown. Just like that we went from holding onto a narrow lead to totally out of the game. Brutal.
