  • Re-signing and Depth charts

Can we try and re-sign (renegotiate) players already on our team now?

And also. WHen I do depth charts and leave game they don't save and I have to re-do them. The gameplans I can save and reload but the depth charts don't seem to be tied to that.

So my question is do we have to redo depth charts each time we load the game?

It appears that we do have to redo depth charts each time we load the game, which I think is crap. I might have to save a screen shot if i spend a lot of time on a depth chart, so that I don't forget what I did, lol.

I wouldn't resign anyone until the last part of the season. Injuries, wash-outs, all occur.

I don't think the depth charts could be tied to that because of the potential for injuries. I've actually had to play a Tight End out of position at Fullback because I lost both FB's on my roster to injuries. So, the game and the g.m. have to be flexible.

It maybe your global options. Coach resets depth chart setting? I know that was the problem for my SP game. Worth a shot.

Whew... Man I can't wait to get used to this games operations.
Maybe that's why the depth charts don't save. BUT once we get them set and export our first files they will be good from then on out becaused they will be in the new league files we download each week.

You can save your depth charts.

GLOBAL GAME OPTIONS-->SAVE GAME PLAN AND DEPTH CHART PROGRESS ON EXPORT.

Nice, that worked. It was already set like that in my copy, so you just need to do the export to get it to save everything. Thanks.

AH, that worked on mine as well.
As soon as we get the game figured out, this is going to be AWESOME!

Okay. I take back everything I've ever said about you. (If I have. Not sure.)

                          Thank you. :)

Nice upgrade. I'm still not sure why the universe files aren't built into the game files. Any idea why that was left the same as in FOF 2004? It's really clunky. I would have thought that would be the first thing Jim would have fixed.

I used the word 'would' three times in that last sentence. And I'm not sure why.
