The rule is only 3+ year deals unless the total value of the deal doesn't exceed an average of 2 million / year.

So, yes -- 1 year, 2 million is the max # total. As well as per year since there's only one year.

2 years, 4 million is the max # total. Technically I guess you could backload that deal if you wanted to. As long as the total doesn't exceed 4.

If you offer a 1 yr deal, you can't offer any more than $2mil.

If you offer a 2 yr deal, you can't offer any more than $4mil (total contract value).
