Austin to the Second Power remains with his team! I would've made a more serious run at him, but there was a conflict with a TL. Plus, I think the guy's heart is in Washington!

In rare good Dakota news, we retained Leon Martinez, our only starting caliber LB, and we now have a kicker who can hit more than 60% of his FG tries.

Ohio Valley signs:

D. Daniels (P) 66/66 --> Removing him from the FA again be our starter without a competition, trying to recover the 2019 & 2020 2nd All-team honors will be his priority to justify that move!

W. Sailer (FB) 54/54 --> Bring back this FB was one of the first priorities in this off-season and signed him with a high-permitted league 4M in 2 years, need his veteranity to make the transition.

V. DeNeff (K) 57/57 --> Another high risk to loss in the FA DeNeff was kick for us since 2023, not a great kicker but is the piece that we need behind the Holder to put some points on the board.

We rather wanted that TE. We have an interesting low-value hole at TE3/ST, in that I want my 3rd TE to ideally be a STs ace, and Sailer would have provided that in effect for us. Not the kind of thing we'll bend over backwards to get and really, any old guy could fill the TE3 slot. We have a few decent ST players there signed so far, but Sailer was our top priority in that regard. Not a lot of other options out there for us.

I didn't have game access when I read this, scared the bejeezus out of me.

Like I said, not entirely sold on AA, but he has a lot more to offer us than any other team - cohesion etc.

In just-as-important news, we landed 5th-year 62/62 center Donovan Hoover. Fills a huge potential gap with Howie Foreman in serious decline. Gonna give Austin (and Hanks) all the best up front, if I can.
