I saw this and allows you to save a plan to your hard drive. Is this just for convenience if I had a certain game plan I had set up for a certain team ??

Yes. I know one of the vets said they create 3 gameplans for each side of the ball. One for a balanced team, passing team and rushing team and load them week by week depending on who they're playing.
