Need help with running MP and SP at same time

Ok, I went through the step-by-step batch file creation thread. I've been able to create my OSFL league but when I try to run the NFL Single Player league, I start it up and I get the option to start the new league but the team choices are the OSFL Teams. Then I look at the divisions and it has baseball divisions with AL West, AL East, NL East, etc. I have the orginal files that came with the game in my NFL folder and still no luck.

In mine I found the NFL setup uses the default cities file so you dont need frfoot.fcy. This file didn't exist with my original game, so it was still pulling them from the OSFL file. I added this line to my NFL.bat

del universe\frfoot.fcy

and removed

copy universe\NFL\frfoot.fcy universe\

Make sure to back up the files before you try this.

The only thing I can think of is that you overwrote your original universe files with the OSFL ones. Maybe try reinstalling and starting from scratch?

I had the same issue. I completely cleared out the Universe folder. Created a new game and set the use alternate player file and random to no (if you want NFL players).

Then it worked.

Make sure you do create that OSFL folder and move the universe files into it!

let me get this straight, if I completely wipe out the universe files and start a new game, I would be able to get it. If I download all the league files from the site again, everything with the league files would be fine to right?

Yah, you'd just need to download the universe files from here again and place them in the OSFL folder you created when following HungryB's instructions.

Something still doesn't work right on my end.

I have a folder set up for OSFL and one for my SP league. The batch file loads the correct one, but...

I've been playing my Sp career and if I go to load it with all files in my SP folder, it starts from scatch and says I don't have any saved games. I have to pull the files out of my SP folder and put them in the universe folder for my save to show up. Not sure why either. Other then that, it works great.
