The Poston magic continues with a 4th quarter comeback, making up for some earlier mistakes. Congrats to Morgantown for a very close game.

Yeah, we couldn't capitalize on those turnovers and when I lost my starting WLB I knew my pass rush was in trouble. That seems about the time when you started completing passes with much more ease.

Best of luck in the championship.

haha man this is rough....I love Utah but I'm attached to Las Vegas since I told you in the forums that your bowl dreams were alive.

I guess I'm happy no matter who wins the bowl game! Good luck to you both!

wow! gg marvelous. This was a hell of a ride.

We figured it was time to pass the torch when Denver leaped out and put a 21-0 hurtin' on us. They had sacked Boone twice, and gotten a pick off of him as well. Denver had scored on three straight marching touchdown drives, while we had 77 total yards at the end of the first half, with two turnovers.

But something funny happened at the 2-minute timeout. Randy Boone was struck with a realization. "Hey, wait a minute, guys," he said into the huddle. "I'm good!" And he promptly directed 4 TDs on his next 5 drives, raining down long bomb after long bomb on the vaunted Denver secondary. By the time the dust had settled, Denver had given up two 70+ yard TD catches, and were staring at a 7-point deficit. Utah had scored four touchdowns in the span of under a quarter.

...and that was enough to hang onto the lead. It was dicey at the end as Denver tried to mount a comeback, but we managed to run enough clock and come up with enough big defensive stops.

Denver did a great job shutting down Earnest Giang today (18-48), but couldn't stop our receivers from taking off in space. Great show, and looking forward to the bowl.
