Well that was an interesting game. Looks like Ellis is going to have his growing pains at times this year.

Another dominating performance by the defense, but I really have to cut down on the turnovers. Fumble on my opposition's 12, INT on their 39, another fumble on their 23. Ugh.

Phoenix/Yuma

Good game Yuma, especially your first quarter! Our D is starting to settle in and our O isn't turning the ball over. Good test for both our teams. Promising preseason.

Next up for the Riders. . . Circle the Wagons, hide the women and children, it's The Totems! Cowboys and Indians. .. gotta love it!

Never entered the red zone.
Less that 100 yards TOTAL O.
The refs threw 200 flags.

and I lost my starting RB for 2 weeks.
Hopefully he'll be ready to go week 1 of regular season.

Not too happy with that performance. The defense was ok after a rough start, but the offense did practically nothing. It looked like we ran effectively, but after going down 14-3 in the 2nd half, we just stopped doing it, which isn't good when the passing game is awful.

My backup QB had the worst game ever, and my offense has scored 3 points total in two games... I'm going 0-16.

Good game Liquid. I was happy my starting QB rebounded from a subpar game. Glad to see my defense play better too. Looks like I may have a rb controversy. Harris Farmer put up over 100 yards and my stud rookie struggled. It'll be interesting.


I thought I changed my FG tendencies. My team PUNTED from the 33 and 34 respectively. I was pissed.

Too bad these games didn't count! 37-10. Great game for the Reapers. Only if it were the regular season it would've been the other way around. Still gotta cheer for something.

Our passing game was solid, hit some big plays, and backup RB Amos Veros carried the ball 29 times!

Our Pass D stiffened after giving up a huge first drive that was all passes. It's gonna be a long year for us, so I'll enjoy the preseason win.

Man, we looked real good at times, but also showed our inexperience- How did you like that "fumble it forward" offense?

If Allen doesn't throw that pick in the end zone, we have ourselves a serious battle. :)

I think I was lucky to be close though, as there were a lot of drops and costly penalties for Phoenix that helped keep me in it.

Either way, a much better outing for the O, both backs looked real good, Allen is finding his way slowly, Minkel looks like a solid WR.

The D took a step back though, at least against the run. I thought the pass D was acceptable if not spectacular.

My special teams is outstanding though. :D

Good game, Phoenix, congratulations on winning the one that doesn't count. Now I get to throw in a few wrinkles for Week 5 when you come to Yuma for the first meaningful matchup :twisted:

I'm not sure how much was my D and how much was getting Morgantown on a bad day, but I'm pretty pleased with the win.

- I got closer to the blend I was looking for on Offense
- We didn't turn the ball over (HUGE improvement)
- Got Artie Mayes involved (my stud FB)
- Got a couple picks
- Played good D

yeah, your WR had a ton of dropped passes too in the 2nd half, so it wasn't all your QB. I was watching the game on Solevision.
