General IR question

Hey guys, in another league I'm in, no one is able to put a player on IR.

We just finished the pre-season, and just going into week 1....is there something that would cause this to happen? Maybe the sim isn't at the proper step? I'm not sure, and I'm hoping someone here might know.

That's weird. There shouldn't be a stage issue there. It's possible you're only talking about certain injuries that cannot be IR'd, like Strained Hamstrings. There are some really annoying ones like that.

Knee Tendinitis, Strained Tricep, Strained rotator cuff, Sprained Lateral Knee Ligament...1 week, 3 weeks, and 9 week injuries, so are none of them IR'able?

2 are Probable and 2 are questionable.

The probable ones, for sure...the questionable ones, it's iffy. I do not recall these being IR-able injuries, but I'm not certain. If there are any 'out' guys, they definitely should be able to go on IR.

I can't think off the top of my head if there are any questionable injuries that you can IR. I know there are some really long questionable injuries (or unknown length) ones that you can't. Annoying, right? Seems in the NFL teams can IR a guy for any ticky tack reason.

Silly point but are the players active? In preseason the CPU might have deactivated them if you don't upload every week.

You can only put guys on IR if they are listed as "out"

I guess there is a little more leeway than that. At the pre-TC stagein my other league a LB came back with a 4-week sprained knee (moderate re-injury risk) and is listed as doubtful, but I can IR him.

EDIT: I guess DOubtful players can be IR'd too.
