    UTAH: BYE week
    ---

This'll be a good chance for our OL to recuperate from some non-major, but nagging injuries. Mo Giles takes his turn on the "1 week, moderate risk" knee injury turnstile this week. With only 8 OL total and 1 C, it's a sticky situation there.

We're in decent shape on both sides of the ball. Still working out a solution to the 'nickel back' issue, and we may play more base in the meantime. ILB Conant is good and he deserves the plays.

Offensively, Randy just hasn't been sharp this year. He misses his cohesion, I'm guessing, but we'll really need him to start hitting his stride. As long as he puts up enough production to win us games, though, I suppose I'm happy - completion %, TDs and INTs be damned.

It really only takes on season, so you'll win the Championship again next season. Can you wait that long?

What takes one season, cohesion? As far as I know, "one year on team" to "three years on team" are pretty much the same thing. Year 4 ... it starts to take more effect, but it isn't until you get to around year 10 on team or above that you get massive effects.

For now I'll just look at the yards (solid) and yards-per-attempt (solid) and ignore that ugly 77 QBR. Although the YPA number isn't very solid if I scroll over to CLB...ugh. That guy! :P

Huge game coming up against Gainesville. Don't really expect to win, but as long as we keep this close I'll be satisfied. Also, if McBriar turns the ball over less than 3 times.

Big game, rematch of last years wildcard game as we go to ohio for game 3 of our 4 game road trip. sharks off to a rough start but Walter andrews can put up 300 and 3 td in a blink, in a rematch the team that lost a close game usually has the advantage.

Hooray for the bye week! We need to get healthy, so it comes at a good time.

Sorry, this is what I should've said: It only takes one year for it to start to get better.

I could be completely wrong, but it seemed to me that year 2 had a pretty good advantage over year 1 with a receiver. That first year is pretty rough, regardless of the skills.

Our first year with Rico is going nicely. He's leading the team in targets and receptions.

If the incomparable Ralph Bell was still on Boston he'd still be getting all the targets.
