  • Week 11 Discussion

We begin the second go-around of our divisional foes with a road trip to Los Alamos territory.

Utah still has the league's #1 run game, but Earnest Giang is coming off a really low, underutilized day. He hasn't exceeded the 100 yard mark since he exploded for 173 in the opener this year...against LA.

Second game vs. Columbus this year. Can we beat them both times? Probably not, but let's hope.

gg nelmsm! Very similar yardage totals. We just found our way to the end zone today, and the Monsters didn't.

I'll say this though, we got WORKED by Austin Cash. That guy is a quality QB, and he was completing everything he threw, for good yardage too until the end.

Redemption days for Giang -- who makes his way over the 100-mark for the second time this year, both against LA -- and Boone, who atones for a 3 INT day against Phoenix with a 4-0 TD/INT ratio today. Not a lot of yards, but rare goalline form [Utah had previously struggled like hell scoring from inside the 10].

Melnick's up on 10.0 sacks; 3.5 to go to break his personal best. Zach Coughlin's starting debut goes OK, and he may just start the rest of the way here as the Bees' second WR.

The NO/Waco game was a classic. We are the only team to beat them this season, in the opener. Today we didn't come out as lucky

Both teams look capable of moving the ball at will. Both defenses have big play ability. Waco had that little extra today to push them ahead

I'm now 2 games down on Waco, splitting the series. Looks like it's gonna have to be the wildcard if we are gonna make it

GL the rest of the season and the playoffs!

Another L and turn to the reality!! Our right OL and secondary sucks!! After a long drive by Lake County ended with a catching touchdown and 14-10 down in the score Andrews get the reins of the offense and travels to the Red-Zone, but he was hitted sacked and striped and the ball comes out, then the Extreme managed another solid drive and this was all!!

Time to start in thinking in the off-season and try to get some more W!!!

Another nailbiter vs St. Paul, who played us close again. A 60 yard+ completion to Donaghy, a 74 yard TD run by McBriar and 5 turnovers for Dakota with none by St. Paul - another typical day for our team.

How long can we keep turning over the ball like this and winning?

Par for the course; our offense was bad, but the defense made theirs worse. Just enough for a win. gg tom.

                    That one was a battle.

I thought you guys were going to drive down the field there at the very end, then BAM! fumble. Way to go backup defensive tackle dude and that guy I keep around mostly for special teams.

1 game up with 6 left to play is hardly a secure lead for the division, but it does feel nice to look over in that last column on the standings and see 4-0.
