Well 12M needed under the room to make space for new W. Andrews contract... Impossible :( IŽll be franchised forever... Till hold-out... CanŽt do nothing without kill half of my roster and the next year cap room... Disastrous previous manager...

It shouldn't be that bad. Andrews is under a franchise tag already, yes? His new contract can't be costing that much in year 1. Unless he's asking 27 million or something in the first year.

Remember [New Contract Year 1 Cap Cost] - [Current 2026 Cap Cost] is how much cap space the new deal will cost this year.

        GG Rip.

Our defense has been carrying the team all year, and that didn't change today.

Artie Lovejoy got off to an explosive start with 3 catches for over 100 yards and a TD early in the second quarter, but then he was carted off the field with a concussion. McBriar put in a nice day going 17 of 30 for 311 yards and a TD, despite being harried all day and sacked five times.

It came down to turnovers, and Dakota made two crucial ones in the 4th quarter, both leading to Camden scores. (A fumbled PR by Barnikow and a fumble on a sack by McBriar.) Honestly, I don't think we were going anywhere without Artie Lovejoy anyway.

It's nice to be back in the playoffs, but I got the sense we weren't quite where we want to be yet. Maybe next year!

gg camden, and gl the rest of the way!

I offered the Top of cap cost with 17M total in the first year giving 100K or so of free cap... And when I click on export the games tell me that it would cost 12M over cap space and I donŽt understand that... Is an error?? And HeŽll sign anyway without be under the cap??

What is the number under the "Cap Cost" column of your submitted offer?

That # replaces your "Current Salary" number. So currently his cap cost is $15.35 million. You should be able to offer roughly about 17-18 million in year 1.

Don't forget the regular season is done so all his current contract is paid. Any new deal just adds to his existing contract, so you're typically stuck offering low money in year 1

This isn't actually true, though. The game suggests that is the case, but it isn't. The bonus money is all that's fixed; if you lower the salary then you lower the cap cost. I've done this recently in another league and squeezed out some extra space after the playoffs where I thought I didn't have any.

Shark, what's he requesting when you click on the renegotiate screen? The bonus, and the yearly breakdown.

If you offer him 61 million bonus you can take plenty off of the salary.

Just got to watch the solevision...wow, good game prinzar. You held Vinny and Covington to all short gains till the 4th. I was getting anxious though being down the whole game, but I felt if we could keep it to a one score game we always have a chance with our offense.

It got crazy in the 4th, Covington finally got a 26 yard td strike to Ireson, then we blew the extra point so you could go up with a FG. WE get a turnover then get a 20+ yard td run called back for holding and settle for a FG to go up by 5. You guys drove right down the field, but Delnegro got a huge INT to ice it. Classic game and our first playoff win since the gold old ironman QB Pipkin days.

                            Exported and ready to go.
