Well, here comes week one in the OSFL and who do I face?

My old friendly nemesis Cotton! First, let's get the gentlemanly stuff out of the way. . . Good luck Utah, looking forward to a good game.

Now, let's get the kid gloves off! What are we, 1-1 head to head Cotton? Of course your win over me was so much more dramatic and important, it still makes me wince. Now today will be a different story. I predict a score of

9-3

(My offense sucks, almost as bad as yours)

with my Phoenix Riders stealing one at home against the Utah Bees. Put that in your Bee Bonnet. Now I have one question for you old friend: the Buzz about Phoenix is that you have a Queen on your team. Who's the Queen Bee on Utah's roster? :twisted:

I suppose I could drone on for a while, but thinking about this last question is giving me a case of the hives. I'll soldier on (wait, that's an ant, isn't it?) and hope for a honey of a game.

I have Anchorage week 1.
My teams banged up but I think we are just healthy enough to win a close one: 13-10.

About 5:30 til game time, the Yuma Aces arrive at Vegas' home turf looking calm and collected. Temperatures in the 70's, decent weather for what should be a good measuring stick game for the Aces early on, as they are heavily overmatched.

Good luck to Vegas, hopefully I have a few surprises to uncork to get an early advantage and I can Buster Douglas myself a win.

The Pearl Harbor Defenders face a tough Dakota team in week one.
The VERY long flight aside, the Defenders are anxious to get the season started, even if it is on the road.

As the only undefeated team in Pre-Season the Defenders have given their fans some early hope, and we think we can deliver.

I predict a close game, but the running game of the Defenders will lead to a victory in a fairly low scoring game: 17-10, Pearl Harbor wins!

LOL! Good call. I didn't see this this weekend. :)

I'm not playing the Violins, but I will be playing Viola more. Once Lucky Lochtefeld and Danny Viola start connecting, it's going to be exciting. But I was just too conservative this week. Wanted to see what I could get out of my aging tailback with this promising front line. Answer? NOT MUCH!
