I like his 40 time but his BPR bar just isn't doing it for me so I'd keep him at RB and pound the ball with him
I've had a few successes lately with conversions. Looks like my rookie RB will have a decent BPR so I'm switching him. Will be interesting to compare how these guys goNew Orleans Stingrays GM 2024-2029

Regardless, f**k you, ya bum.
Do you really want to face off against 3 top WR's?
I do think Elkon could be a better back than Kinney, but Kinney does have plenty of life left and I'm happy with my backup RB's as it is.

I wouldn't do it unless he can drop weight, then move after camp. You can get a better look at the bars once he signsOwner of the Drunken, Fightin' Irish.

I wonder why your RB would have a higher BPR with a little slower 40 yard dash time.Originally posted by prinzar View Post4.54 I think. Nothing exceptional so I think his BPR may drop. It hovers around the 75 area now
I thought the 40 yd dash was 100% BPR, and that BPR was static, so I wonder what is going on there.

Don't you lose some of the benefit of TC, if the move is done afterwards?Originally posted by mike17 View PostI wouldn't do it unless he can drop weight, then move after camp. You can get a better look at the bars once he signs
Or is it still better to make weight first, then make a move afterwards?
Like I've said in the op, I've never moved a RB to WR, so I don't want to kill him off if the move isn't worth it.

Mike means you can sign him and look at him in the trade window and get a better idea of what he truly looks like before you make him a WR. All this can be done during the second FA period, before camp.Originally posted by Ozias View PostDon't you lose some of the benefit of TC, if the move is done afterwards?

The BPR bar is going to be static. Now, this position move and the 27/71 rating you see is without the 9% penalties applied, so you can expect the BPR to come out several points lower than how you see. There's dice involved in the switch as well, I *think*. But maybe not.Originally posted by prinzar View Post4.54 I think. Nothing exceptional so I think his BPR may drop. BPR also has nothing to do with 40 time for RBs. RB combine correlations generate the 40 time based on the breakaway bar. All players have all bars, but none of the RB combines are generated from the RB's hidden BPR bar, so that's why I think 40/RB BPR is more or less totally random.
That said, 91% or 100%, I don't think I would make this move. The BPR is going to be quite average. As high as his bars came out, there is no indication if he is a climber or dropper. The GD could be falling a little bit and that will make him even less dangerous/special as a WR, whether or not he ends up rated high 50s or low 60s.
As a RB, his receiving bars could drop and you wouldn't care much about it. He is still likely a very good RB. Granted, as others said -- you have Kinney.
I moved RB Wade Morton to WR post TC last year after having him drop weight. I think you lose the chance at rookie TC development. He'll gain EXP and CUR at RB and then start at a lower level again as a WR. Other than that I don't htink there's anything you actually lose, while the weight loss gives you the chance to gain % retained.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Maybe 3 WR's will finally get me over the hump.
