Is it normal that every Sim I have to reload my off/def gameplans? It always "resets" to the default.

You should be able to load your saved gameplans. This would make it quicker to tweek them

Right, I do that, but I would think that when I go to "basic gameplan" the next time I open the game, the gameplan I set up would be there, not the default. Or is that just not how it goes?

I know someone said it has to do with how the commisioner's default settings are, or something like that. I just don't know if my gameplan is uploading or being followed.

I'm not sure why your gameplans are resetting. Mine are staying the same from week to week, until I tweak them.

I'm not sure why that would be happening either. I have the global option set up correctly ("save gameplan on export" or whatever it is) so I'd be interested in hearing whether or not anyone else is having this problem.

When you exit the game are you choosing "Save and Exit"????

Mine is always correct.

Save and exit doesn't save your gameplan, unless you do an export, I think.

If you want to make sure you're saving your game plan, look for the 'Save Offensive Game Plan' and 'Save Defensive Game Plan' options on the 'Game Plan' window.

The gameplans are saved on my local machine, the problem is that every time I open up a session of FOF, it's back to the default gameplan.

Then, I load my saved gameplan, tweak if needed, and export. The next time I go into FOF (whether before or after the next SIM) its back to default.

I have no way of knowing if my gameplan is being executed.

Hmmm...

I hope the Commish doesn't have the league set to 'Coach resets gameplan before each game.' because then none of us will have our own gameplans run.

The commish settings are what everyone uses.
