2027 TRAINING CAMP SIM Complete - Next SIM Sunday 12/30
Not a bad camp for the Bombers. Not much out of the rookies, but TE Mathis went +4/-1 to 48/76 - that's really all I needed in the draft.
Austin can bite my shiny metal ass. Holding out, while Sante bumps to 48/48 and still creeping, and 2nd year Prescott looks respectable. Hell, even rookie QB Dolinko went +5/0. End of the Double-A era, especially since he's looking for 65 million over 5 years.
Wow! Traded DE Junior Bello took a volatility hit upwards and is now at a whole 'nother level. 67/67. Yeah, I wouldn't mind having that back. Too bad he's on Punxsutawney now.
Our camp was good because Gornitsky moved pretty seamlessly from FB to RB and actually looks like he will be a really good RB as well. Glad to finally have a RB to lean on, which we haven't really had since Boshier. Kroll took a shit as expected, but i really thought when I drafted him that he would be challenging for playing time. He'll probably be inactive all year. Kind of a disastrous pick there. Got some solid depth elsewhere, but Gornitsky is the real gem of the class for us.
Wow, 3rd round CB Jared Lukins went +8, from 23/44 to 31/52, one of my best picks ever. Also FB Beecroft went +5, and 1st round T Mitchem went +2 when I was expecting a drop. Only disappointment was with 2nd rounder G Mix, and DT Scukanec who got hit with vol.

But pretty good draft in general.
And he was the guy I was going to draft if I didn't take that kicker....DAMN ME!!!!!
Wow, Lukins is pretty surprising, the magnitude of that. I can't help but wonder if some vol was involved, but it sure is hard to say. Time will tell!
Gornitsky to RB looks like a winner for the Aces, and SFO and KAL look like franchises on the rise again.
Utah's draft looks fairly forgettable. Some looong-term developmental prospects early we could do or do without this year anyway, but they'll probably hit the "waiting in the wings" list and you never know, a few veteran camp hits here or there and that lack of urgency might evaporate.
Of especial concern is how stalwart corner Quinn Robinette has in recent years done his absolute bestest to forget how to pick off passes.
We took a big draft class, but a lot of late round strikeouts as usual.
2nd-year safety Butch McKinnon taking a modest volatility gain on top of his +5 camp last year is probably the biggest development, as well as the mess of WRs we have on hand to replace Alvin Foley.
