  • SIM COMPLETE - Week 3

Super Bowl Sunday and the OSFL waits for no one! New league file up for download. I'm having a problem uploading the HTML tonight, but I hope to have that fixed soon. As requested, the Yuma/Columbus trade has been pushed back to Tuesday night's midweek sim.

Enjoy the games and congrats to the Colts. Hopefully the Bears fans among us will get a win tonight to cheer them up.

Thank goodness I have a good defense. I let the coaching staff set up our offensive game plan this week and they did one hell of a job.

It just hurts to watch this team. We really haven't been that bad on either side of the ball, but we just can't execute when it matters. 13 costly penalties after having 9 last week, and we converted just 2 of 12 3rd downs, which makes us 7 for 36 on 3rd downs this season.

Somehow we're 3-0. Finally gave up a TD on defense, but Clements went off for us at QB and threw 3 TD passes. So we went 3-0 all against the division. Now comes the 10 game losing streak. This can't keep up, but it's been fun.

What an ugly game in Yuma this week. I win 27-17 despite being pretty much out-everything'd by Yuma and despite committing an absolutely awful amount of penalties. But hey, I'll take it. 2-1 and a share of the division lead.

Preseason acquisition Jamal Brewer, out 47 weeks with ACL surgery. Ugh.

First loss for Port City. I haven't been able to stop the run all season. I had opportunities to score and once again, I'm disappointed in the penalties at critical times of the game. They remind me of the Cowboys. I gotta tweak my offense. I can't run the ball for shit and i'm passing way too much even though my receivers are playing better than I thought they would. GG Motor City

                      No Luck at all + 2 turnovers for TD's = a loss.

Played "well" and better than I thought though.

                      2-1 ain't bad.

                        Kalispel ? Smoke and Mirrors

In a game in which Kalispel failed to score any offensive points the Stags improved to 2-1 . It was a tough pill for Portland to swallow. RCB Leland Ernst stopped Portland on 3 and goal from the one to hold Portland to a 3-0 lead and with 1:08 left in the game Leland picked off Phantom's QB Shaun Douglas ending any thought of Portland pulling this one out. With 13 tackles in all and picking off his 2nd pass of the season the Rookie from Valley Center , Kansas was named Player of the game. Kalispel scored their only points on an 87 yard punt return by starting FL Toby Richard. Stags are not looking forward to the rematch with Portland in Week 17.

I still haven't scored a touchdown... 0-3 after another abysmal performance by the Enforcers.
