Albert Garner began the season with a lot of doubt being cast upon him when we drafted a QB high and talked about possibly trading him away.. Now, here we are at the end of the season, and he just Alex Smith'd us into the Conference Championship with one of the all time great finishes in OSFL history. I thought we were dead in the water until TE Bruce Poland made an incredible game saving offensive fumble recovery and took it for the score with just a few minutes left.. We battled and got the ball back down 8 with about 2 minutes on the clock, then Garner took us down the field like greased lightning against the tired Columbus defense and hit a huge TD pass and 2 point conversion to put us into O.T.. We finished with an exclamation point drive on our first possession of O.T. for a huge win against an opponent that had given us fits for quite a while.

Hell of a game, Columbus. We'll try to make sure that loss wasn't in vain.

The top unit on this Utah team exited the regular season quietly, with ho-hum performances before resting the final two games. Man, did they return with a vengeance.

Randy Boone was absolutely on fire today. He came out with 11 straight completions and wouldn't have a pass fall to the turf until the third quarter. Everyone got in on the action (I am pretty perplexed at how Alvin Foley ended up with one target and no catches, but everyone else got in).

Anyway, it appears the Sharks doubled up on Foley, and Hunter Vandersommen reaped the usual benefits - going 9/9 for 148 yards and all three of Boone's touchdowns.

gg Shark. This team was completely on fire today. 14.72 yards per pass attempt. Man.

Only if you meet up with Utah in the bowl, and beat them, this will all be okay.

Great man, cool game by the Pelicans... At least is not 40-0 like the last time that we meet :) Is a progression for me in the year 1 of my rebuild!! I played a little better in offense, the next year maybe IŽll have a little better secondary and try to finish 23-20 for you or something!!

Good look the rest of the way!!
