Good game Julio. We were able to get the big plays in the second half to win, but it was a close one. Could have gone either way.

Our defense just gave out late in this one. Offense went dry too long after building an early lead, and when we didn't put our foot on Vegas' throat, they made us pay. Tough loss, but a good, close game.

Denver's offense has found reasonable success through the air against Utah this year, but not today. Maybe it's the recent promotion of rookie Bobby Plantilla to a role he probably should have filled all year long - nickel. Greg Pinson had the most miserable day possible, starting 3/17 with 2 sacks and 2 picks and finishing the day 15/43 with a third INT added on, for a 16.0 QBR.

It was a pretty defensive game, though. Lots of stalled drives and tough defense from both teams. The difference was Utah didn't turn the ball over, and Denver did four times. It led to the Bees having a ToP advantage of 38:43-21:17. We didn't bring the guns on offense, but grinded out a 22-0 blanking.

gg marvelous. You'll get me one of these years. I haven't ever seen a defensive performance like that and I don't expect I ever will again, against the receivers Denver trots onto the field.
