I'll get an offseason schedule up some time tomorrow morning, but for now let's assume the next SIM happens on WED 02/13. I'll have the End of Season file up in a bit.

yup, as I figured. Turnovers were the difference. Could not throw the ball to the team with the same color jersey.

That's been Poston's Achilles Heel -- the interception. Hadn't really been a reason for any loss outside of this one this season (though, I may have still lost in this game if he hadn't thrown picks, but I don't think it would have been so lopsided), but I had a feeling that he could blow a game with a crap ton of turnovers like he had today. His performance is in lieu of a kick return fumble that gave Utah the ball at my 1 yard line that helped put us in a 21-0 hole.

To add a little clarity to Poston's season, I nearly pulled him going into my week 17 game against Yuma -- 20 interceptions is just too much. Felt I could put Bowers in week 17 and knock off the rust and then ride him through the playoffs, but I decided to stick with the guy that got me there. I'm torn on whether I made the right decision. Bowers, I think, may be able to put up similar numbers as Poston, minus the picks. But Bowers is more sack prone.

good game Nutah. your third down defense did its job in the beginning when your team struggled to move the ball. Felt we could move the ball in this game, as long as we weren't trying to convert on third down.

gg Koz. When Boone started 1/7 for 9 yards and Poston started 8/8 for 155 and a touch, I thought, wow, here we go again. Randy pulled his head out eventually and Poston...was still unstoppable, except for his picks, and they were really costly. Las Vegas was mounting a hard-charging comeback before a pick-six put the game out of reach.

Biggest surprise was how well the ground game fared. That was critical in giving us the early lead while our passing game was nonexistant. I had little confidence in this game because I didn't think our running game would be there, so if the passing and STs weren't going our way, I figured it could get ugly.

ST advantage definitely went to Vegas, by a significant margin. Kinda neat to watch our league's top punt returner in Stephen Easton getting stiffed for 4 yards on his only return. Our coverage wasn't good either.

Randy Boone gets an OSFL Bowl MVP for a change -- and finishes 19/34 for 276 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs. Most of those came on a meaningless catch-and-run at the end of the half, but I'm sure he'll take it.

Thanks everyone for another awesome OSFL season!

Congrats to the Bees! They're like the Bills of the 90s - in the Super Bowl every year... except they WIN bowls!

I'm glad I don't have to go through them every year to get to a bowl game like Denver does.

Bomber! You still around? 0-16, I will never let you live that down. Your team had mad talent compared to mine.
