That will be be cautionary note for this draft. Be very careful when trading away future 1sts. You have to be pretty certain that the deal puts you into bowl contention. Patience is a virtue.
I do think being a good GM means knowing when to be aggressive. But generally, for myself, I only do that when I know the value of picks I am moving OR I am comfortable with the risks. It is a lesson I learned the hard way.
Although, I have to say Aston isn't even the best GM at this trick. Zbuck in USFL regularly has four 1st round picks and most of them are top 15s. Plus he is always a bowl favorite. It is sickening. The only bright spot is someone knocked him out in the semis this season so I could sneak in and win it.
