No probs, it is my revenge for knocking me out in the playoffs.

We got a whole new staff, except for one coordinator who is solid but only 1 year left on his contract. No biggee, I guess. I like the scout I picked up, sucks on defense but very good on offense. I wanted the Memphis guy just a touch more but when we offered the same $ and term, I played it safe and went to my second target.

Britt Richard is a former Utah coach there. He looks great except for his discipline rating, but penalties are supposed to go down with tenure and he's been at OHV for a while. Even a guy with good discipline might have to deal with a few penalties for their first few years.

I ranked 3rd most at total penalties in this last season... Maybe a Holding in a Hail Mary caught in the last play for Anchorage the next time that we reach the play-offs will be the price, Ten yards back and another play miracle play in his last oportunity...

I did a quick study once and found that tenure did not really impact penalties. Only discipline.

But... unless there are some other variables quantity of penalities are still a dice roll. Yes, in the long run an average discipline coach would be better than poor but in individual seasons it could be the reverse.

I think the most important ratings by far are play calling. Just my opinion.

Agreed. I look at playcalling above all else.
