Also, as you say, a lot of times the creepers go down a bit in the fluctuations during this stage.
Although I wonder if that is because teams tend to upgrade their scouts during this time, and the old ones tend to improve their abilities.
Better scout = worse at evaluating masked players in either direction.Float likeabutterflysting likeabee.

Andrews is trade bait, of course he'll be tagged.
Milum will be tagged.
Nixon may be trade bait, though it's more likely Clown hasn't shown up for a while. (Sorry, bud.)
Greer may/should be trade bait.
Bensen is pretty much the most expendable player out there. Trade bait if he's smart about it. Hell, a 2nd for him would be a huge get.
Why Covington wasn't signed to a long deal is beyond me.
Madison should've been signed.
Same for Walker. Maybe Jake is gonna trade him. Maybe not. Jake made some good strides last season. I hate Walker, btw. ;) Anyway, Jake is in good financial position, which wasn't true a few years ago when he bled talent.Comment

It happens sometimes at the season turn, which I find weird. Creepers can lose a point or two. This has nothing to do with changing scouts. I do not know the explanation.Originally posted by Nutah View Post

Tagging them won't up their demands much when they want so much to begin with, and it means their 2nd Contract is going to take you further into their career by one year (that can be a big deal...renegotiating in year 9 instead of 8, for example, or 11 instead of 10).
Although you probably want to get them signed before FA1 ends, when they can hold out, as franchised guys often do.
Hmmmmm...I thought that season turn, no ratings changes happen at all. Some minor ones do just in time for the franchise stage. Maybe season turn changes occur when a scout is no longer under contract? Have definitely seen slight ratings reductions on creepers at the season turn when players are still developing... Usually not but sometimes. I dunno if the scout was no longer under contact but I don't think that was the explanation.Originally posted by Nutah View PostComment

My not-so-franchise QB changed ratings at season turn. Slightly downward, think he was like 51 potential, now 48. I'm not taking it as a good sign. :/Comment
