I really like to play a short-pass happy like Patriots game in offense, but I can do cause Andrews know 16 different formations, and "familiars" not usually be on the Logs... I also search for a WR that can catch and run with the football with a great AD + RR and BPR on his bars!! Maybe I´m wrong but this year Andrews won the MVP awards...

Other thing that I need to be better is to put the ball in our WRs more than in our RBs, maybe lowing the screen % is the solution, thanks Nutah

Fellas I re-up this Topic to talk about the formations...

The loss of eficiency is in run and pass situations, or if your QB doesn´t know one formation have the penalty in pass only??

      Tell me about that!!

Thanks a lot gurus of FoF!!

If your QB doesn't know the formation it will randomly pick a formation he does know to run the play out of. So, basically, when you gameplan, don't have any formations your QB doesn't know in it.

I would assume that the SS does the honors, and the FS plays center field, but I have no knowledge of how the game works. They say that zone defense is more important for your FS, so that suggests my assumption is correct.

My long answer: It's hard to determine "who" will be in on DC at any time. If I recall correctly, I tried to run a test on this a while back, prior to doing so I wanted to see at an eyes glance, what all the plays that read "...threw into double coverage..." and were incomplete being defended by a player on defense. Due to players that may be playing out of position, depth charts, I felt there wasn't enough that I could gain by trying to run a test on it in bulk.

                  My short answer: dunno

How does the game decide who is the #1 and #2 receiver? Yards gained or specific ratings?

"Top Receiver" is decided by the WR with the highest Route Running ability, I believe.

Sorry about the spreadsheets. I don't know what happened to them; I might dig it up at some point if there's interest. The links seem to KEEP breaking, though.

Yes, right? As in, you only blitz from the nickel? I don't think you can go finer in controls than that, i.e, "when I blitz from the nickel, blitz this player ___ % of the time, but when I blitz from base, blitz this player ___ % of the time."

However, I typically only blitz from the nickel or dime, so it's basically that. Rex settings for blitz from nickel/dime are also much higher than from base personnel.
