    Hi buddies!!

The thing that I really like in this game is the variety of bizarre injuries that we face during each game, and I want to resume all in this, at least, great Post!!

Share with us your experience and try to keep informed all the managers about the injury... Weeks... Medical history of your players... Expectations and all!!!

We can have a full library of injuries to consult and aswer our own questions

I want to start talking about the bizarre injury of Ohio River Sharks "Rookie Sweet sensation" WR Dexter Carman, creeper in the TC who is now 43/46 and our #2 WR after was drafted in the 5th Round with 27/42... Without a doubt a great future WR who can play opposite Neal Howe and maybe replace him when He will retire... But is just a dream, MY and HIS dream... Now he is in a Career threating "Degenerative hip condition" and will be out at least 102 Weeks from now.

He had a Mild Groin Injury in week 9 who sidelined him 2 weeks and was fully recovered after 2 more, now MY and HIS desire is wait two full seasons (I think) to recover him and maintain in our roster and see what happens from there...

A couple seasons ago my guard Dustin Chorak had a groin injury.

I brought him back when he was probable for one week with very low chance of reinjury.

    BAM - 30+ week reinjury.

    Ouch.

I remember doing something similar. Lesson learned - don't mess with a man's groin.

Good luck, Shark, but I imagine he's going to come back as like 27/27, if you're lucky. Hope not, but that one's pretty deadly.

Agreed. Degenerative Hip Condition is one of the worst ones you can get.

RL side note. I totally remember watching Bo Jackson against the Bengals, when he went down. Diagnosed with degenerative hip. *sigh*

Man, he was amazing, but so forgotten because his career was cut short. Would've been one of the all time greats.

Damn... So I will keep him for nothing, right??

I was very amazed and optimist after grab him in the 5th rounder due his uncany combine and glad to see how he grows +7/+4 points in the TC... WR/KR/PR Wally Gollalic also grows but not as Carman, maybe he will never reach the #2 WR status who Carman could grow for sure... Well this is football, and everything can happen in every play!

I don't think it would hurt too much to keep him around, since you can just leave him on IR...and maybe even get affinities or something like that. But yeah, he is probably done.

He could even retire after this season, I've had it happen a few times lately. If not then he's still gonna count against your cap and will still probably never come back close to his current ability.
It's a real shame because he looked like a hidden gem for you

I drafted a WR around 11th overall in another league who got a horrific knee injury in his 2nd game. He was out until week 12 in his second season but he came back with no ratings drop. That injury wasn't as bad as the one your guy has, but there is some hope with these injuries. Unfortunately, degenerative hip condition is one of the worst, and worse than a killer knee injury.

It goes by a little faster than you'd expect due to the days going by in the offseason, but 102 weeks is a LOT. My WR with the knee injury was somewhere between 27 and 40 weeks out of action, I think.

I think it will takes about 2 seasons... 52 + 52 = 104... So the next year he will be in the IR since the start and the next year depends on how many weeks still on the box...
