I don't do a good job tracking my before and after... but I feel like I'm happy with my class. Especially the Tackle, CB and QB. Feel like I hit on all three and added 2 1sts Rounders. Feels like a good draft.

Anyone ever noticed on Team Needs that it shows a position you don't consider a need? Funny how mine was DT, and Legree has just crashed in camp.

        Coincidence?

Boston's biggest need has been starting QB for like 8 seasons ;)

I think it's because you're running a 3-4. Don't know why, but when I look a team which his biggest need is DT that team has a 3-4 defense. Even when they have 50-60 rated DT.

Also happens in the opposite way, when a team has as biggest need ILB, that team is running 4-3.

And to confirm that theory. I'm running a 3-4, and my biggest need is also DT, so I just switched my defense to 4-3, and my biggest need changed to ILB. So yeah... weird.

That's worked out to be one hell of a trade for you.

I was bummed about WR Trent Cerf's camp, but upon closer inspection he's still looking pretty nice other than the zero in third down catching

Rex Decota gave me reason to exhale, and T McAlister is the best T we have had in years. This should be the best our offensive line has been in a while.

I really really was hoping Bryan Banks would drop to me in round 2 though. Great value on that pick.

yeah well i dunno i looked at his draft class and looking at his combines and everything it makes no sense why hes 70 rated? all his times were average at best i think he had a blue drill but it was only mid 80s IIRC (im sure utah will correct me) and he still had some green before training camp now its all gone

i mean we have some very astute drafters here and the fact he went in the 5th is scary.

so im kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop, for the bottom to fall out. either hes TRULY a diamond in the rough (5th round pick) or, sadly more likely, hes nowhere near as good as his numbers indicate

i wish the former was the case rather than the latter, but this game doesnt seem to work that way.

Two VSOLs on that guy, strick. If you look at his FA change trackers he drops pretty steeply. The good news is the VSOLs are real bumps that help him out a lot.

Just cut him and you should see. For example in 29 FA he went -3/-4 and in 28 FA he went -2/-3. This is unmasking. But in each VSOL he probably gained a crap ton of current and it reverses some of that damage greatly.
