gg Jughead. The Frodos jumped to an early 10-0 lead, but didn't score again. The top two Utah RBs scored two touchdowns apiece, and Randy Boone was marvelously efficient playing some old-school Utah ball today. After opening the season passing a little too much, we went back to our run-heavy roots and topped 200 yards on the ground, to go with a nice spread-the-ball passing game that made good use of our TEs.
Yeah, did ok for the first half, but then stumbled while the Bees rolled on...
Stingrays hit 2-1, and things are looking better than last season. We have won while playing a good ground game and a solid defense so far. I've limited Andrews to keep confidence high and avoid mistakes
Today Andrews threw a 100+ QBR for the first time this season. Dixon became the favourite target today after moving to the backup flanker role. He's been slow in his development so far, so we are hoping this is a breakout game and a sign of things to come
Our opportunistic defense hauled in 4 picks today from 4 different defenders. Very impressed with a showing like that, especially because this secondary lost two starters in the offseason
I was afraid that Bucky Jennings last week heroics where he channelled Johnny Unitas would turn in to him channelling (insert your favorite bad quarterback here) and I was right.
Columbus had a track meet while we stood by and watched. Brent Columbo Wally Pipp-ed Bobby Tubbs who had clipboard duty this week due to injury. Columbo had a nearly perfect day as we had no answers for anything.
Our own backup QB Ricky Shantz got some game action when Shawn Figures went out with an injury, and represented himself well. Figures is Questionable this week, so we're undecided at this point whether we'll send him out or just let Shantz have another week at the helm.

Totally shocked that Columbo played like he did. With that 0 LP bar, and my tendency to pass in that range a lot. We'll see how he does moving forward, but first order of business is getting Tubbs going. He has 600 to get to. :)

He was probably motivated after all the hate I spewed at him before jettisoning him.
