Considering I went with a rookie QB, I sure did not expect to be 5-3, and on top in the division, halfway thru the season.

I figured a 6-10 record at the start of the season, but QB Junior Gray 23/54 (was 17/62 before TC) has exceeded my expectations. He currently has thrown for the most yards in the league, 2031 and has thrown the most TD's in the league, 17.

He does have 10 picks, but 8 of them came in his first 3 games as a pro.

I keep expecting the wheels to fall off and for the team to go into free fall, but they seem to be a resilient bunch and want to keep winning.

If we can go 5-3 in the second half of the season I'll be happy.

As a NJ native, I am going to recommend that everyone stick to Strick's party girls in Hawaii.

This team is my best in years and we've exceeded my expectations thus far. If we don't win a playoff game this year I'll be surprised. What a difference having a passable QB as a starter makes. I thought I could trot out some mediocre guys and produce the past 6 or so seasons, but I guess I learned my lesson.

Utah is its normal, juggernaut self and if I make it to the bowl game I have little doubt I'll be facing off against Nutah, who I'm sure will be hungry for some bowl revenge.

New Orleans are a tough one to predict. We've had a few easier games but haven't put those teams away with a good performance. We were destroyed by San Fran

The good thing is we are 6-2 and could push for a 1st round bye in the playoffs. I've yet to win a playoff game here so that bye week is essential for me.

Our second half of the season is a little tougher. I need to get Andrews throwing more yards and TDs. When I did that before our running game suffered. To take the division title and a playoff win I think we need to improve a lot on both sides of the ball
