We got stuffed offensively. Max had his typical 100 yards, but the passing game was terrible. Travis Christen returned the opening kick of the 2nd half for a TD, and that was the only reason we were in this game at all. I feel pretty lucky to get the win here despite some terrible play.

I believe now we can safely rest starters for the final game, and mostly I just want to bench Cary Money for that crap game he just gave us.

Weird game. Pleasant was awful out of the gate but our defense was amazing throughout. Bollywood was sacked six times, including 3 in a row on one drive when Kalispel was in our territory. Maiher had an interception return for a TD.

Our offense turned the ball over four times, but Duckworth finished the first half with 151 yards on THREE CARRIES, which included 80 and 67 yard touchdowns. He finished with 201 yards on 16 carries, falling five yards short of Sherdrick Allen's team record of 206 yards in a game.

Pleasant needs to perform better than he did, but I think this was just a blip for him. He's been fairly solid this season.

We've clinched a bye for the second time in my tenure, which is awesome. #1 looks to be locked up by Boston, though. Time for another edition of the Walt Johnson & Co. show in the final week.

Bah.. I wish I had known the site wasn't down, or whatever the case was. Didn't get to export for this game because this forum wouldn't load and I didn't get anything in my email about a site outage - We had injuries last week, so now everything is shuffled all to hell and that probably had a lot to do with our loss. Our whole offense and defense was compromised. At least we're not in danger of missing the postseason.

Now, to try and remember who was starting where when I had the formula down.. :)

gg rando. 'Twas an honor to play an outgoing OSFL great in Casey Baumgartner. We started out fast -- and in our second drive Camden committed two penalties on Utah fourth downs (roughing the punter, and offsides), which must've been disheartening.

Utah's offense got totally stonewalled for about the last seven drives, so there's some positive to take from that. Now we're going to the Turf of No Return and debating whether or not to dangle Boone out there for a shot at 16-0.

And damn those refs were brutal this game. Not only did we have the two flags on 4th down on a single drive, later on in the game I found myself wondering what plays we had in the playbook for a 2nd down and 41. Of course they didn't just go after us and tossed 7 more yellow hankies Utah's way as well.

We are lucky our defense decided to show up in the second half there, otherwise we could have lost this one by 60 or more.

We got lucky. Blocked a punt, you lost 3 fumbles. This game just has the weirdest outcomes sometimes. Half the time I don't think game planning does anything.

You guys have played awesome all year, we've been getting by with a little trickery here and a little luck there, but yeah, we needed an export to have a chance against you I think. Without Howie Gornitsky we're just not that scary in my mind.
