Finally a game the Aces can build on this week, winning 30-6 over St. Paul.

QB Doug Allen has to get heavy consideration for offensive rookie of the week after coming back from a benching and having his best game of the year
(26/40 - 228 yds - 2 td - 0 int) with only 3 healthy receivers. Not only that, but his overall rating improved by a point for the first time this season.. I dont know if I should be encouraged by that or not :)

Arnie Wigtil learned how to cover receivers over the bye week too, with 5 breakups in the last 2 games, so things are looking up for that strong finish I expected early in the year.. Now if we can only get our number 1 and 3 receivers healthy and stay opportunistic..

Good game to the Bandits, now its off to Dakota for the Green and Black.

The Showboats win a thriller over Memphis to improve the winning streak to 3 games and get us to .500 for the first time. Bert Kalter led his first career 4th quarter comeback, perfecting executing the two-minute drill and leaving less than a minute on the clock for Memphis.

          Good game, Sully.

Must have been something in the water in our division because Glen Hechet lead his first 4th quarter comeback on a two-minute drill.

That's an efficient two-minute drill...all against DIME personnel:

-- Motor City: 1-10-MTC20 (4Q: 01:24) Glen Hecht pass completed to WR Greg Supple for 14 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by CB Neal Truitt. The receiver ran his route right over the middle of the field.

-- Motor City: 1-10-MTC34 (4Q: 01:17) Glen Hecht pass completed to WR Kim Rose for 19 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by OLB Ernie Lynch, assisted by CB Harvey Landry. Rose gained 3 yards after the catch.

-- Motor City: 1-10-CHI47 (4Q: 01:11) Glen Hecht pass completed to WR Louie Lira for 28 yards. Tackled by CB Neal Truitt. Lira gained 12 yards after the catch. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.

-- Motor City called a time out.

-- Motor City: 1-10-CHI19 (4Q: 00:59) Glen Hecht pass completed to WR Greg Supple for 19 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Motor City 15, Chicago 12

-- Motor City: (4Q: 00:59) Extra point by Allen Goble was good. Motor City 16, Chicago 12

GG Chicago. I didn't think either one of us was going to find the endzone and that those two missed FGs were going to haunt me.

P.S. I got my lead in the Rushing title back!!!

Yes, nicely played. This game is really discouraging to me, as I thought we might have been on to something with 2 wins in the last 3 games. Obviously, we are a ways away from even being average. We should still be a top 5 draft pick when it's all said and done.

Wow. My back up QB comes in and plays well and moves us to 6-2. Good rushing also.
With my starting QB gone for the year I can only hope to at least be in every game at the end with a chance to win...
                Good stuff :)
