So, let's look at the team.
I have two running backs that look decent. That's promising, One is injured but it looks minor.
The O line is a mixed bag. Center Ben Lasiga (5 yrs, 41/41) has been moved to left guard (42/42). The man has the strength and endurance bars to at least fill in until we can find the lefty that fills the bill.
Rookie qb Corwin Gallagher (what the heck kind of name is that? I half expect him to smash a few watermelons at half time) will start for the remainder of the season. He should have been playing the entire year. The kid looks decent. If he can handle the smashmouth for now, we'll get him some wideouts. I hope.
Receiving corp is thin. Dang Thin.
Defense
We've moved to the 4-3, and we have some very nice prospects. Our strong linebacker left Marvel Comics and is a super hero in the OSFL . Stan Lee (90/90) has some pretty doggone gaudy numbers, but Average Wants Winner. Linebackers are okay after that.
Left defensive end Delgado (was a pussycat..) has the punishing hitter bar I like, so he looks like a winner. The 12 year veteran on the opposite side looks like he's got some wheels left.
Defensive tackles converted from nose tackles well...and Oliver Wunder looks like a finesse d tackle. I'm hoping he wraps up well and doesn't miss tackles.
Defensive backs...I can work with these guys.
Released: QB Harvey Lustgarten. Lustgarten..sounds German for...well..a lusty garden. Can't have that in the locker room. I needed a mentor for the young qb, so we offered up a contract for a third string mentor.
Eight and five record, wild card so far. Not shabby. I can work with that.
We lost 109 million last season. It's a good thing my BLPF and BLHF and TFL and DFL teams are generating money or I'd be broke.
Team history: man oh man, they look like the Imperial League's Matadors. Mired in Mediocrity...the Maulers!
Something about that M nickname...mediocrity.
Looking forward to the OSFL...
why I remember when this league was formed... and some dummy made me move my Fort Wayne Komets to Phoenix because it was too close to Detroit.

Yep, named them after the WLAF San Antonio Riders, always like that league and it's helmet cam on the quarterback.
Did okay with the team, but... had trouble getting behind them after the disappointment with the administrative move from Fort Wayne.
I always wanted a team in Fort Wayne, Indiana's second largest city, and the original home of the NBA's Pistons.
I'm hoping my stay in the OSFL is longer this time, and I like the So Maryland Maulers...but if I can ever move the team ingame, and this looks like a franchise that could move.... who knows where we'll land!
Have fun with the Riders...
I think they're in good hands.
