  • OSFL 2006 MVP?

If the OSFL MVP Voting were today and you had a vote, who would you vote for?
(if ‘Other’, please post who you’d vote for and why)

I'm going with Clements only because I have a preference for RB's in such things.

    I'll go with Lincoln.

Lincoln has the big numbers at the marquee position, but having watched all of our games, I'd say that Sierra is the HUGE key to our success. He seems to always make the big catch in the key situations.

It's a super tough call. Lincoln and Sierra are the best players on the best team... no doubt. In the real NFL, they would actually take votes from eachother. Bias asside, Kenneth Clements is a good vote because he is definately the most valuable to his team. Take KC off Motor City and they are in the basement right now.

The only other name I could throw out is Bruce O'Neill from San Francisco. They are 7-5, so they are in the hunt. Dude has 2929 all-purpose yards. That's just sick!

Not to side with Clay but

Bruce O'Neill =D> is also my vote --- When an RB has more APY yards than all other Qbs except Lincoln -- he needs to be recognized (before his hips, knees and ankles fall off) O'Neill : relative to his position -- he is far more differentiated than the rest

*****question how can his APY be so much higher than YfromScrim. --- Is he almost tackled 2 yards behind the line each time?

The reason I left O'Neill off the list was his inability to find the endzone. But other than that, a valid choice.

            IMHO, YMMV, IIRC, LOL, etc.

I voted for Lincoln... But only because I predicted him as the MVP before the season started. :)

              O'Neill should probably win it.

My vote RIGHT NOW is O'Neill... if he breaks down or San Fran doesn't make a playoff push... my actual vote at the end of the year will change. Stats are all fine and good... but he needs to be valuable to his team.

Do they count the Special Teams yards in the YfromScrim????

                    Continuing the question:
Is there a progressive fatigue built into the season? More injuries?

Also, is there year-to-year season fatigue ? i.e. no rusher with over 300 touches does well in the subsequent year ? It would be great (but not for CLEMENTS and O'Neill if this is modeled....
