We played a great game. Skip Alig was incredible with 234 yards of total offense, he had 179 on the ground and 55 receiving. Our defense was awesome also, allowing just 7 points and just 53 yards rushing.
Ohio were penalized 17 times for 119 yards. I would be screaming after that. Glad to get the win and i am sure teams in the hunt for the playoffs will not want to play us :)
I had a very vanilla offense in play (a bit rush heavy) but nothing fancy. I have no explanation for why they ran the same play every down. My only thought is some sort of glitch in my upload file.
Yes, and we now hold three single-season team records that won't be broken until someone else decides to run the SAME PLAY ON EVERY DOWN.
When the defense is already 'extremely familiar with that play' before the second quarter, you're in big trouble. ;)
Man, I don't think I've ever seen that many punts in a box score on one team! It definitely was a monstrous performance.
When did the Bees get an offense?
We can pass and run block. Enough to mix it up enough. If we don't make stupid mistakes like fumbles and penalties, the Bees can definitely move the ball. McAlpine is a little underrated. (No Alloy, though.) And Viola is a serious weapon.
4-26-PHO07 (2Q: 01:50) Junior Harrison punted and it was blocked by Bernard Hanson. SFO Warren Pritchard recovered the ball in the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN! San Francisco 13, Phoenix 9
(2Q: 01:50) Extra point by Tyrell Andrews was good. San Francisco 14, Phoenix 9
(2Q: 01:35) Tyrell Andrews kicked off 63 yards from the SFO30. Jack Jackson returned the ball 93 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Phoenix 15, San Francisco 14
(2Q: 01:35) Extra point by Cole Cooper was good. Phoenix 16, San Francisco 14
(2Q: 01:20) Darryl Farrell kicked off 70 yards from the PHO30. Bruce O'Neill returned the ball 100 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! San Francisco 20, Phoenix 16
=D> =D> =D> =D> LOVELY SPECIAL TEAMS GUYS. . . MAN, I'M GONNA FIRE THAT SPECIAL TEAMS COACH....wait, we don't have a special teams coach!
Man, the playoff race in the NC is heating up. The wildcard spot is still up in the air. 3 teams within 1 game of each other. The Pearl harbor defenders are also only one game back of the division leader Las Vegas Outlaws! P. Lincoln played another solid game.
